All
Employ America employees are paid by having their payroll funds loaded
onto a Visa/MasterCard Debit Card. This is a guaranteed issue debit card
- no credit or background checks are required.
Like a virtual checking account, the card allows employees to pay their
bills and have easy access to funds without hard copy checks.
The Cost of the card
is just $2 per month with one completely free
ATM transaction per load;
and can be used world-wide like any other Visa/
MasterCard credit card. Employees are oriented to the use of this card
at ATM ’s and merchants.
If the employee leaves EA and goes to work
for another employer, the new employer can
direct deposit payroll directly onto this
card as if
it were a regular checking account. In addition, the employee can continue
to benefit from EA’s benefit plan.

Visa/ MasterCard Debit Card.
Transit Benefit card can be kept and paid for if the employee should
leave Employ America and go to work elsewhere.
Section 132 can reduce the cost of public transportation by 25-38%
or more if arranged by EA.

additional 10% on benefit cost.

Lower wage employees
often are not offered benefits as they may not be entitled to them, or
they simply cannot afford the employee portion of the benefit plan their
employer offers.
Major medical insurance costs can range from $500-$800 (after tax) a
month for employee only coverage, which is well beyond the range of those
earning near minimum wage.
EMPLOY AMERICA is proud to offer its employees a LIMITED BENEFIT HEATH
PLAN underwritten by AETNA.
This Guaranteed Issue coverage does not require underwriting and has
no pre-existing conditions limitations. It combines Medical Coverage with the value of a Discounted PPO Network
to make more efficient use of benefit dollars. Coverage includes hospital
inpatient, outpatient, Wellness Care Benefit and Prescription Drug Benefit. It also covers basic office visits, flu shots, tests, etc. ($15 co-pay).
Paid for pre tax under section
125 deductions reducing cost by
25-30%. After tax cost of approximately
$63 per month for employee only
coverage
before EA’s employer subsidy. Employees can avoid County hospitals
for routine checkups.
This benefit is portable if the employee should leave EA.

Individual
Development Accounts (IDA) are matched savings accounts that enable qualifying
individuals with a unique opportunity to build assets and achieve economic
well-being. Similar to Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs), IDAs encourage
monthly savings. However, IDA accounts are specifically designed for
individuals who are working to purchase a home or to pay for post-secondary
education.
Employ America offers this innovative program to help employees gain
financial traction and independence. EA's IDA program combines financial
literacy education and a match on savings towards an asset goal such
as a first time home purchase, start a business, or post-secondary education. |

you want, just like owning a car! All Employ America employees are
eligible for the I-GO car sharing and car-pooling program.
In the markets where it is

leaving only the hourly cost to the employee. Employees that leave

the cost will increase and the method of payment may change. Costs
start at $6 per hour (includes auto insurance) plus $.50 per mile.

Employ
America is working with Generations
of Success which has partnered with Ways to Work (both
501c3 non-profits) to facilitate small, low-interest auto loans to
employees of EA for the purchase or repair of automobiles. This is
done through the established Ways to Work Loan program. Loans are provided
to qualified and approved applicants that demonstrate the ability to
repay a loan, but are unable to qualify for conventional loans. The
vast majority of our loans are made for the purchase of modestly price
used vehicles to provide stabilization or improvement in their family
and employment situations.
The loan program will link employees to resources to 1) alleviate hardship
and facilitate the ability of low-income parents to work, 2) provide financial
management education, and 3) contribute to individual and family self-sufficiency
and asset building ability. The primary goal is to provide opportunities
for individual employees to become financially self-sufficient.
This 19 year initiative of providing small loans to low-income families
to help them stay on the job was developed by the Mc Knight Foundation
and has provided over 26 million dollars in loans to over 19,000 families
across
the nation. In working with Ways to Work, Generations of Success will provide
the introduction, selection, financial training and management of the Auto
Loan program to the approved employees of Employ America. |

Employ America (EA)
has partnered with Generations
of Success, a 501c3 non-profit that provides
an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) to the employees of EA. These services
will be training programs and referral services to address personal and
work related issues. Having a targeted and effective EAP can help reduce
absenteeism and tardiness, while also increasing productivity, decrease
employee turnover, and most importantly enhance morale. The enhanced
morale and confidence of an employee leads to a higher level of performance,
which contributes to overall company productivity. Either as a Service
Connector or working directly with employees, the EAP service will provide
high quality, cost effective services that are uniquely tailored and
managed.
This confidential service will be provided Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m.
- 5:00 p.m. CST by calling (800) 409-8716. In addition, Employ America
in working with Generations of Success will periodically provide training
seminars to employees to meet the suggestion and interest of the client
and employee communities.
