Employ America is excited to announce that we have added three new hires to our growing team. We have enjoyed getting to know each of them over the past few months, and now we want to introduce them to you too!

Preston Mui

Preston joins the team as a Senior Economist with the goal of promoting monetary policy in support of full employment and strong labor markets. He completed his PhD at the University of California, Berkeley and his undergraduate degree at Georgetown University. During his PhD, he was a head steward with his union, UAW 2865. Before his PhD, he worked as a research analyst at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York (where he first met Skanda!). Outside of economics, he enjoys riding his bicycle and birdwatching.

Ashley George

As a Policy Associate, Ashley supports the Policy Team at EA in advocating for legislative and regulatory proposals that support full employment. Before joining EA, Ashley was an International City/County Management Association (ICMA) Fellow serving the Borough of State College in Pennsylvania. As an ICMA Fellow, Ashley worked on affordable housing, land use planning, and community and economic development. Ashley is from the western part of North Carolina and received her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and her Master’s of Public Policy from George Washington University.

Sarah Teran

Sarah comes to Employ America as a Project Manager focusing on process building and revenue strategy. Prior to joining EA, Sarah worked in Business Development at Jenner & Block LLP. Sarah has lived in Washington, DC for 6 years, completing her undergraduate degree at American University in 2020. In her free time, Sarah enjoys cooking and playing tennis.
